Went for a birthday weekend away and visited casino. Fantastic night. Good band. Comfortable tables to have a gamble and food was really really good in restaurant. Will go there again asap

I visited with my husband on Saturday evening, planned on having a meal, drink and gambling ie spending a significant amount of money- the whole point of visiting ! On arrival there were no spaces in the car park outside ,it was raining heavily so I jumped out to wait in reception whilst my husband went to park further down the car park. I heard a lady ask about parking to be told she had to pay online, she walked out not at all happy and left.I asked the receptionist if I had heard that correctly to be told you have to pay online with a card as the car park belongs to the Kursaal not the casino. ( this has not been an issue previously as we have parked outside or in the back car park and been reimbursed by the casino).I explained that we did not have a card with us so could they pay and we pay them, to be told no!. She also said you can park anywhere outside for free- I clarified anywhere? , right outside the door? to be told yes! We went to do just that only to be told we cannot do that-( was obvious really As double yellow lines which is why I had queried it !) in short- we left , visited Genting casino where the parking was free and plentiful and had a really lovely evening where we were valued as customers. As members I feel this situation has really let you down- firstly the misinformation by the desk staff and the unwillingness to rectify the situation. It was not he matter of paying for the car park, although I do feel the the casino should cover this cost ,it makes enough profit to do this- it was the total inability to try to rectify this for us- we HAD NO card so it was impossible to pay!
Food was of high standard as always. It wasn't to busy for a friday night so great for those wanting to learn the tables.
Staff were extremely attentive and food was very good. Best piece of cod I've had for a long while. The only drawback is that you're sat close to the gaming tables.
