- I play 3 Credit - $25 Dollar Top Dollar Deluxe at a 'Boutique' Casino in Eastern Pennsylvania. Its slowly becoming the game I transition more to, from $100 WOF. I come up with this conundrum when playing, because I've had this happen multiple times Offer 1 - 35 Credits (Pass No thanks) $875 Offer 2 - 100-10-5-X2-X2 = 460 Credits $11,500.

#1 What is your set spending limit (in credits or $$) that you say to yourself that if you don't get the bonus by then, you will get off of the machine. Those machines are basically setup just to get the bonus. The other pay offs are pretty bad on it.
{Personally for me I try to set a limit of $60 on the $1 machine and $300 on the $5 version. I have been guilty of putting $170 into a $1 top dollar before without the bonus $240 into double top dollar and never getting the bonus.)
#2 In your best guess, (for people that play the game), after you do hit the bonus, in general how long does it take to show up again?
(My best guess on this is probably another 30-40 spins).
#3 If you get a bad bonus, do you continue to play the game or just take the offer?
(I usually play the game until I get a bonus, If I don't have to put extra money into the machine and I get a bad bonus, I will take it and maybe come back to it later. If I put extra money into it, I will keep going. 8/30/16 I was playing double top dollar. I must put $240 or $260 into the machine before I hit the bonus and was down to 1 credit. 1st offer 15 2nd offer 25 3rd offer 30 (best play said to try again), 4th offer was 15 credits. I got that and kept going and didn't get the bonus again and I ended up using everything in my wallet $40 more and lost it all.
#4 How many times or how often do you get at 'decent' bonus (lets say 40 or 45 credits) and the machine says best play is to take offer and you don't take offer and you end up getting something better then what was offered? {I personally have seen it done several times, but personally I never got lucky enough to EVER get a better offer then the 3rd one.)
#5 Do you think that once you get the bonus, it is already pre determined or it is determined at the time you push the next offer button.
#6 Is the 3 credit version of the game worth playing? I notice that if you are on a 3 credit machine, the pay table is doubled because of the extra credit. Do you think that it is fair for them to do that? More the Fair? or you refuse to play the 3 credit version nd stick with the 2?

Chasing bonuses is usually a bad idea. I would say if the bonus doesn't come up within 20 spins, it is time to stop. Sure, the goal of playing slots is to get more money than you came in with, but cutting your losses(stopping before you lose any more money)is important too. Would you rather lose $20 or lose $200? Food for thought.
There are very few bonus machines where the bonus will come up on an avage of less than 30 spins. Not that that matters beause you are going to give up the same EV if you play 5 machines for 20 spins or one machine for 100 spins, but thats just a strange statment you made. There are very few bonus machines where the bonus will come up on an avage of less than 30 spins. I meant a maximum of 20 spins is what should be spun without getting a bonus because constantly spinning on a machine that is just not giving the bonus is a bad idea. Cutting losses is the best thing to do in this situation.
